How are sloths endangered?Sloths have become one of the most fascinating animals that inhabit the rain forests of South and Central America. Sloths live in the rain forests because of the many trees that supply them with homes and protection. The sloth has become an endangered animal due to deforestation by man. Cutting down trees in the forest is taking away the homes of many sloths causing extinction.
